2012 was a year we’ll never forget!
It was when, on a cold and snowy night February night, we officially launched Dandelions for Dinner to a standing-room only crowd at the National Hellenic Museum in Chicago.
Over the year, we have been privileged to participate in many book presentations and book signings. We can’t thank you enough for making our book such a success. And we can’t overstate what a pleasure it has been meeting and talking with each of you.
Sam and I have been pleasantly surprised over the enthusiasm for Dandelions for Dinner. As we hoped, the book offered something for everyone. For Greek Americans, it was the story of what so many of our parents and grandparents lived through. It provided non-Greeks with the opportunity to learn for the first time about what happened to Greece during the depression, World War II and its aftermath.
We have many events planned this year around the U.S. and hope to take our book to Greece! Our next stops include Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on January 9 and Naples, Florida on January 10.
